किसी भी जातक की  जन्म पत्रिका  के मिलान के समय हम केवल युवक एवं युवती की राशि,नक्षत्र व गण भकूट और नाडी का ही मिलान करते है किन्तु परिवार के अन्य सदस्यों के साथ मिलान की व्यवस्था हमारे पास उपलब्ध होती,इसी कारण से हमें  विपरीत परिणाम देखने को मिलता  है।  

नये भवन  के निर्माण की जानकारी देने के लिए, प्लॉट की दिशाओं का सही निर्धारण करने के साथ, प्लॉट के आस-पास की भौगोलिक वास्तु स्थिति, निर्माण करवाते समय आप जिस मकान में रह रहे हैं, उस मकान की वास्तु स्थिति तथा आपकी आर्थिक सामर्थ्य एवं आवश्यक्ताओं का भी ध्यान रखना पड़ता है।

भवन  का निर्माण अगर वास्तु के नियमों  के विपरीत हो गया तो, उस नव-निर्मित मकान में पैदा होने वाले वास्तु-दोषों के दुष्परिणाम, उस मकान में निवास करने वालों के जीवन को समस्याग्रस्त स्थिति में परिवर्तित कर देंगे, क्योंकि आपका वर्तमान और भविष्य, आपके मकान की वास्तु के आधार पर ही प्रभावित होगा। 

आज के भौतिक संसार में मनुष्य  अपने घर में संसार के सारे सुखों को भोगना चाहता है। इसके लिए हमें वैवाहिक जीवन को वास्तु से जोड़ना होगा।

१- वास्तु शास्त्र के सिद्धांतों के  अनुसार भवन में पारिवारिक सदस्यों को कहां कहां रहना व सोना चाहिए जिससे उनके आपस में सम्बन्ध मधुर हो। 

२- वास्तु शास्त्र के नियम अनुसार परिवार का मुखिया दक्षिण-पश्चिम कोण में सोना चाहिए,इस कोण में होने से आत्म विशवास बढ़ता  है, तथा वह निर्णय लेने में समर्थ होता है दक्षिण में सिर करके होने से व्यक्ति में नेतृत्व कि क्षमता बढती  है, यदि दक्षिण में सिर करने की सुविधा न हो तो पूर्व दिशा में सिर करके तथा पश्चिम में पैर करके भी शयन किया जा सकता है। 

३- परिवार का जो भी सदस्य यदि दक्षिण-पश्चिम में निवास करता है तो वह घर में प्रभावशाली हो जाता है अत: स्पष्ट है कि घर के मुखिया उसकी स्त्री को घर के दक्षिण-पश्चिम में निवास करना चाहिये,तथा छोटी  स्त्री-पुरुष, को शयन नहीं करना चाहिये। 

४- जो स्त्रियां घर के वायव्य {उत्तर-पश्चिम }  कोण में शयन- निवास करती है उनके मन में उच्चाटन का भाव आने लगता है वह अपने अलग से घर बसाने के सपने देखने लगती है,  इस लिए इस कोण में अविवाहित कन्याओं को निवास करना शुभ होता है जिससे उनका विवाह शिघ्र हो।  

५- वायव्य कोण {पश्चिम-उत्तर } में नई दुल्हन को तो बिलकुल मत रखे इससे उसका परिवार के साथ अलगाव रहेगा। 

६- वास्तु शास्त्र के नियम अनुसार दक्षिण-पश्चिम {नैऋत्य} कोण दिशा घर की सबसे शक्तिशाली होती है इसमें सास को सोना चाहिए अगर सास ना हो तो घर की बड़ी बहू को सोना चाहिए उससे छोटी को पश्चिम दिशा में रहना चाहिए उससे भी छोटी तीसरे नम्बर की बहु को पूर्व दिशा में शयन करना चाहिए यदि और भी छोटी  बहू हो तो उसे ईशान कोण में निवास रखना चाहिए।  

७-  दक्षिण में सोने वाली स्त्री को अपने पति के बायीं तरफ  शयन करना चाहिए अग्नि कोण में सोने वाली स्त्री को अपने पति के दायी ओर शयन करना चाहिए। 

८-   पत्नी को हमेशा पति के बायीं और ही शयन करना चाहिए।  

९- परिवार की मुखिया सास या बड़ी बहू को कभी भी ईशान कोण में नहीं सोना चाहिए इससे परिवार में प्रभाव कम हो कर हास्यास्पद स्थिति रहती है वृद्धावस्था में अग्नि कोण में रह सकती है।  

 अगर आपका पूजा घर  सीढियों के निचे बना हुआ है तो इसके क्या दुषप्रभाव हैं   —-========================

१- बहु और सास में झगडे होते हैं। २- आपके पड़ोसियों से सम्बन्ध अच्छे नहीं रहेंगे।  ३- आपके घर में शादी विवाह में रुकावट आएगी। ४- आपके घर में अशांति रहेगी। 

सावधानियां :

१- घर के बर्तन के गिरने टकराने की आवाज न आने दें।

२- बहू को चाहिए की सूर्योदय से पहले घर में झाडू लगाकर कचड़े को घर के बाहर फेंके।

३- अपने पितरों का पूजन करें।

४- प्रतिदिन पहली रोटी गाय को एवं आखरी रोटी कुत्ते को खिलाऐं।

५- रोटी बनाते समय तवा गर्म होने पर पहले उस पर ठंडे पानी के छींटे डाले और फिर रोटी बनाएं।

नोट :- 

वास्तुदेवता सभी देवशक्तियों का स्वरूप होने से ही नियमित देव पूजा में विशेष मंत्र से वास्तुदेव का ध्यान वास्तु दोष को दूर करने के लिए आसान उपाय माना गया है, जो घर में बिना किसी तोड़-फोड़ किए भी कारगर हो सकता है।

वास्तोष्पते प्रति जानीह्यस्मान् स्वावेशो अन्नमीवो भवान : ।

यत् त्वेमहे प्रति तन्नो जुषस्व शन्नो भव द्विपदे शं चतुष्पदे।।

ऋग्वेद के इस मंत्र का सरल शब्दों में अर्थ है – हे वास्तु देवता, हम आपकी सच्चे हृदय से उपासना करते हैं। हमारी प्रार्थना को सुन आप हमें रोग-पीड़ा और दरिद्रता से मुक्त करें। हमारी धन-वैभव की इच्छा भी पूरी करें। वास्तु क्षेत्र या घर में रहने वाले सभी परिजनों, पशुओं व वाहनादि का भी शुभ व मंगल करें।

Answer: According to the rules of Vastu Shastra, the south-west (southwestern) angle is the most powerful direction of the house, in which the mother-in-law should sleep, if the mother-in-law is not there, then the elder daughter-in-law of the house should sleep, the younger should stay in the western direction. The daughter-in-law's number should sleep in the east direction and if there is a younger daughter-in-law, she should reside in the northeast.

Answer: A woman sleeping in the south should sleep on her husband's left side, a woman sleeping in the fire angle should sleep on her husband's right side.

7- The mother-in-law or elder daughter-in-law of the family should never sleep in the northeast; this reduces the effects in the family and keeps the situation ridiculous. Agni can remain in the old age.
