 One should know the birth of male and female by considering the planets of Yogakaraka. In the absence of those male yoga and female yoga, eunuch should be born!

If there is an odd zodiac and anomalous Navamsa in the lagna, and the birth of a son when the Moon, the Sun, and the Guru are situated in an asymmetric Navamsa. If there is even a zodiac sign in the ascendant and the Moon, the Sun, and the Guru are located in the Navamsa, then the girl is born!

Except Saturn in the ascendant, if Saturn is situated in an asymmetrical or asymmetrical Navamsa, then the son should be understood if he is situated in either the Zodiac or Equal Navamsa and if neither of the two planets are in the sight of any other planet.

ओजभेच विषमाशकोषगैर्लग्नचन्द्रगुरुभास्करैः नरैः !

स्यात्तथापि समभे समाशगै स्त्रीभिषेकसमये प्रसूतिषु !! 

लग्न त्यक्तत्वा च विषमे पुत्रदो भाष्करात्मजः!

समे कन्याप्रदो प्रोक्तो नान्यग्रह  निरीक्षितः !!

 योगकारक ग्रहों का बलाबलविचार करके पुरुष स्त्री का जन्म जानना चाहिए।  उन पुरुष योग व स्त्री योग के अभाव में नपुंसक का जन्म मानना चाहिए ।

लग्न में विषम राशि तथा विषम नवांश हो, और चन्द्र, सूर्य, गुरु विषम नवांश में स्थित हों तब पुत्र का जन्म ! यदि लग्न में सम राशि हो और चन्द्र, सूर्य, गुरु सम नवांश में स्थित हों तब कन्या का जन्म होता है ।  

लग्न को छोड़कर यदि शनि विषम राशि या विषम नवांश में स्थित हों तब पुत्र, यदि सम राशि या सम नवांश में स्थित हों और दोनो स्थितियों में किसी अन्य ग्रह की दृष्टि युति में न हों तब कन्या का जन्म समझना चाहिए ।

Why should not parents take food and water from daughter's house?

 Often we hear that it is said in our scriptures that after marriage, nothing should be eaten by going to your daughter's house (in-laws). Even the water of the daughter's house should not be drunk. The reason for this is that the parents have donated their daughter and the donor has no right over any Vastu donated. Unless a child is born to the daughter, food and water should not be taken in her house.

It is not a restriction when children are born to the daughter. The reason is that her son-in-law has accepted her daughter to be free from her father. The son-in-law is freed from his father and the daughter But the parent becomes right. That is why the Daahitra or Dohata surrenders the shraad of his maternal grandparents and in the hereafter the maternal grandparents also accept the shraad-tarpan done of their couplets, ingot-water. If a daughter is born without a son to the daughter's daughter, then the burden of father-in-law is removed from the son-in-law. The daughter or daughter of the daughter does not matter to him. Once the child is born, there is no prohibition in consuming food and water in the daughter's house.

अक्सर हम ये सुनते हैं की हमारे शास्त्रों में कहा गया है की शादी के बाद अपनी बेटी के घर (ससुराल) जाकर कुछ नहीं खाना चाहिए । यहाँ तक की बेटी के घर का पानी भी नहीं पीना चाहिए ।उसका कारण ये है की माँ-बाप ने अपनी कन्या का दान कर दिया है और दान की हुई किसी भी वास्तु पर दाता का कोई अधिकार नहीं होता है । जब तक बेटी की कोई संतान न पैदा हो तब तक उसके घर का अन्न-जल नहीं लेना चाहिए।

जब बेटी के घर संतान पैदा हो जाये तो ये पाबन्दी नहीं होती है ।इसका कारण ये है की उनके दामाद ने अपने पित्रऋण से मुक्त होने के लिए उनकी बेटी को स्वीकार किया है ।उससे संतान होने पर दामाद पित्रऋण से मुक्त हो जाता है और बेटी पर माँ--बाप का अधिकार हो जाता है। तभी तो दैहित्र या दोहता अपने नाना-नानी का श्राद तर्पण करता है और परलोक में नाना-नानी अपने दोहते का किया हुआ श्राद-तर्पण, पिंड-पानी स्वीकार भी करते हैं । अगर बेटी के घर पुत्र नहीं होकर पुत्री भी पैदा होती है तो भी दामाद पर से पित्रऋण का भार समाप्त हो जाता है ।बेटी की संतान पुत्र हो या पुत्री उससे कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ता। एक बार संतान होने के बाद बेटी के घर का अन्न-जल ग्रहण करने में कोई मनाही नहीं है ।
