A guru of ancient times was very concerned about his ashram. The Guru had grown old and now wanted to spend the rest of his life in the Himalayas, but he was worried about who should be a worthy successor in my place, who could run the ashram properly.
There were two worthy disciples in that ashram and both were dear to the Guru. The Guru called both of them and said - Disciples, I am going on pilgrimage and all I ask of you as Gurudakshina is that it is two handful wheat. Keep a handful each of you with you and when I come, I have to return this two handful wheat. The disciple who will return my wheat safely, I will appoint him as the Guru of this Gurukul. Both the disciples obeyed the Guru's command and said goodbye to the Guru.
A disciple considered the Guru as God. He tied a handful of wheat given by the Guru to a bundle and kept it safe in an ale and worshiped it daily. The second disciple, who considered the Guru to be the god of knowledge, took a handful of wheat and sowed it in the field behind the Gurukul.
A few months later, when the Guru came, he asked for a handful of wheat from the disciple who considered the Guru to be God. The disciple took the guru and told him the putl of wheat which he used to worship daily. The Guru noticed that the wheat of that Puttal has rotted and they are no longer of any use.
 Then the Guru asked the disciple who believed the Guru to be the god of knowledge to show his wheat. He took the Guru to the back of the ashram and said - Gurudev, the crop that you are seeing is only a handful of your wheat and forgive me that I cannot give the wheat that you had given.
Seeing the shrub crop, the Guru's mind was pleased and he said that the disciple who spreads the knowledge of the Guru, shares it, he is eligible to be the best heir. Originally this is the true Dakshina towards the Guru. The meaning of Gurudakshina in the general sense is taken as rewarding, but the actual meaning of Gurudakshina is far more comprehensive. Not just rewarded.
Gurudakshina means that the education and knowledge received from the Guru should be disseminated and used in public welfare. Originally, the meaning of Gurudakshina is also taken with reference to the examination of the disciple. Gurudakshina is a respect and dedication towards the Guru. The true Dakshina towards the Guru is that the Guru now wants you to be a Guru yourself.
Gurudakshina is given at that time or Guru takes Dakshina when the disciple comes in fullness. That is, when the disciple is in a position to be a master. Gurudakshina is meaningful when the disciple acquires all the knowledge near the Guru and when the Guru is left with nothing to give.
When Arjuna saw Dronacharya as his rival in the battle ground, he refused to fight the war. It was a feeling of love and respect for Dronacharya as a disciple of Arjuna. Similarly, when Guru Dronacharya asked Eklavya, who is your Guru, then he said - Gurudev you are my Guru and by your grace I have learned archery by considering your idol as Guru. Then Dronacharya said - son then you will have to give me Dakshina.
Eklavya said- If you order Gurudev, I am ready to give Dakshina. Then Guru Dronacharya asked Eklavya the right hand thumb. Eklavya gladly cut off his thumb and placed it at the Guru's feet. This did not harm Eklavya, but Eklavya's fame spread far and wide and he became a history man. The Guru's love is hard to see, but it does not hurt the disciple at all.
The Guru's entire life takes time to make his disciple a worthy officer. The Guru fulfills his duty, but the second duty belongs to the disciple - Gurudakshina. The importance of Gurudakshina in Hinduism has been considered very high. After finally getting education in Gurukul, when the disciple finally goes to his house, he has to give Gurudakshina. Gurudakshina does not mean any wealth. It is up to the Guru to ask his disciple what kind of Gurudakshina.
The Guru also asks for Gurudakshina many times as a test for his disciple. Many times, in Gurudakshina, the disciple gave the Guru exactly what the Guru wanted. Obeying the Guru's command becomes the ultimate duty of the disciple's life and at times it has also become a question of life and death.
Vivekananda, through the orders of his Guru, propagated the Sanatana Dharma throughout the world. Chhatrapati Shivaji brought out the milk of the lioness as per the orders of his guru and conquered the whole of Maharashtra as Gurudakshina and placed it at the feet of his guru.

जे गुर चरन रेनु सिर धरहीं। ते जनु सकल बिभव बस करहीं॥

मोहि सम यहु अनुभयउ न दूजें। सबु पायउँ रज पावनि पूजें॥

जो लोग गुरु के चरणों की रज को मस्तक पर धारण करते हैं, वे मानो समस्त ऐश्वर्य को अपने वश में कर लेते हैं। इसका अनुभव मेरे समान दूसरे किसी ने नहीं किया। आपकी पवित्र चरण रज की पूजा करके मैंने सब कुछ पा लिया॥

जैसे सूर्य बिना कहे सबको प्राण ऊर्जा देता है, मेघ जल बरसाता है, हवा भी बिना किसी भेदभाव व लालच के ठंडक पहुँचाकर सभी को जीवित रखती है और फूल भी अपनी महक में कोई कसर नहीं रखता, वैसे ही गुरुजन भी स्वयं ही शिष्यों की भलाई में लगे रहते हैं। उनका उद्देश्य शिष्य से गुरुदक्षिणा लेना नहीं, अपितु शिष्य का सूर्य की भाँति दैदीप्यमान होना है जो गुरु के सिर को गर्व से ऊँचा कर दे।

प्राचीनकाल के एक गुरु अपने आश्रम को लेकर बहुत चिंतित थे। गुरु वृद्ध हो चले थे और अब शेष जीवन हिमालय में ही बिताना चाहते थे, लेकिन उन्हें यह चिंता सताए जा रही थी कि मेरी जगह कौन योग्य उत्तराधिकारी हो, जो आश्रम को ठीक तरह से संचालित कर सके।

उस आश्रम में दो योग्य शिष्य थे और दोनों ही गुरु को प्रिय थे। दोनों को गुरु ने बुलाया और कहा- शिष्यों मैं तीर्थ पर जा रहा हूँ और गुरुदक्षिणा के रूप में तुमसे बस इतना ही माँगता हूँ कि यह दो मुट्ठी गेहूँ है। एक-एक मुट्ठी तुम दोनों अपने पास संभालकर रखो और जब मैं आऊँ तो मुझे यह दो मुठ्ठी गेहूँ वापस करना है। जो शिष्य मुझे अपने गेहूँ सुरक्षित वापस कर देगा, मैं उसे ही इस गुरुकुल का गुरु नियुक्त करूँगा। दोनों शिष्यों ने गुरु की आज्ञा को शिरोधार्य रखा और गुरु को विदा किया।

एक शिष्य गुरु को भगवान मानता था। उसने तो गुरु के दिए हुए एक मुट्ठी गेहूँ को पुट्टल बाँधकर एक आलिए में सुरक्षित रख दिए और रोज उसकी पूजा करने लगा। दूसरा शिष्य जो गुरु को ज्ञान का देवता मानता था उसने उन एक मुट्ठी गेहूँ को ले जाकर गुरुकुल के पीछे खेत में बो दिए।

कुछ महीनों बाद जब गुरु आए तो उन्होंने जो शिष्य गुरु को भगवान मानता था उससे अपने एक मुट्ठी गेहूँ माँगे। उस शिष्य ने गुरु को ले जाकर आलिए में रखी गेहूँ की पुट्टल बताई जिसकी वह रोज पूजा करता था। गुरु ने देखा कि उस पुट्टल के गेहूँ सड़ चुके हैं और अब वे किसी काम के नहीं रहे।

 तब गुरु ने उस शिष्य को जो गुरु को ज्ञान का देवता मानता था उससे अपने गेहूँ दिखाने के लिए कहा। उसने गुरु को आश्रम के पीछे ले जाकर कहा- गुरुदेव यह लहलहाती जो फसल देख रहे हैं यही आपके एक मुट्ठी गेहूँ हैं और मुझे क्षमा करें कि जो गेहूँ आप दे गए थे वही गेहूँ मैं दे नहीं सकता।

लहलहाती फसल को देखकर गुरु का चित्त प्रसन्न हो गया और उन्होंने कहा जो शिष्य गुरु के ज्ञान को फैलाता है, बाँटता है वही श्रेष्ठ उत्तराधिकारी होने का पात्र है। मूलतः गुरु के प्रति सच्ची दक्षिणा यही है। सामान्य अर्थ में गुरुदक्षिणा का अर्थ पारितोषिक के रूप में लिया जाता है, किंतु गुरुदक्षिणा का वास्तविक अर्थ कहीं ज्यादा व्यापक है। महज पारितोषिक नहीं।

गुरुदक्षिणा का अर्थ है कि गुरु से प्राप्त की गई शिक्षा एवं ज्ञान का प्रचार-प्रसार व उसका सही उपयोग कर जनकल्याण में लगाएँ। मूलतः गुरुदक्षिणा का अर्थ शिष्य की परीक्षा के संदर्भ में भी लिया जाता है। गुरुदक्षिणा गुरु के प्रति सम्मान व समर्पण भाव है। गुरु के प्रति सही दक्षिणा यही है कि गुरु अब चाहता है कि तुम खुद गुरु बनो।

गुरुदक्षिणा उस वक्त दी जाती है या गुरु उस वक्त दक्षिणा लेता है जब शिष्य में सम्पूर्णता आ जाती है। अर्थात जब शिष्य गुरु होने लायक स्थिति में होता है। गुरु के पास का समग्र ज्ञान जब शिष्य ग्रहण कर लेता है और जब गुरु के पास कुछ भी देने के लिए शेष नहीं रह जाता तब गुरुदक्षिणा सार्थक होती है।

द्रोणाचार्य को युद्ध भूमि में जब अर्जुन ने अपने सामने प्रतिद्वंद्वी के रूप में देखा तो उसने युद्ध लड़ने से इंकार कर दिया। यह अर्जुन के शिष्य के रूप में द्रोणाचार्य के प्रति प्रेम व सम्मान का भाव था। इसी प्रकार जब एकलव्य से गुरु द्रोणाचार्य ने प्रश्न किया कि तुम्हारा गुरु कौन है, तब उसने कहा- गुरुदेव आप ही मेरे गुरु हैं और आपकी ही कृपा से आपकी मूर्ति को गुरु मानकर मैंने धनुर्विद्या सीखी है। तब द्रोणाचार्य ने कहा- पुत्र तब तो तुमको मुझे दक्षिणा देना होगी।

एकलव्य ने कहा- गुरुदेव आप आदेश तो करें मैं दक्षिणा देने के लिए तैयार हूँ। तब गुरु द्रोणाचार्य ने एकलव्य से दाहिने हाथ का अँगूठा माँगा। एकलव्य ने सहर्ष अपना अँगूठा काटकर गुरु के चरणों में रख दिया। इससे एकलव्य का अहित नहीं हुआ, बल्कि एकलव्य की ख्याति दूर-दूर तक फैल गई और वह एक इतिहास पुरुष बन गया। गुरु का प्रेम दिखने में कठोर होता है, किंतु इससे शिष्य का जरा भी अहित नहीं होता।

गुरु का पूरा जीवन अपने शिष्य को योग्य अधिकारी बनाने में लगता है। गुरु तो अपना कर्तव्य पूरा कर देता है, मगर दुसरा कर्तव्य शिष्य का है वह है- गुरुदक्षिणा। हिंदू धर्म में गुरुदक्षिणा का महत्व बहुत अधिक माना गया है। गुरुकुल में शिक्षा ग्रहण करने के बाद जब अंत में शिष्य अपने घर जाता है तब उसे गुरुदक्षिणा देनी होती है। गुरुदक्षिणा का अर्थ कोई धन-दौलत से नहीं है। यह गुरु के ऊपर निर्भर है कि वह अपने शिष्य से किस प्रकार की गुरुदक्षिणा की माँग करे।

गुरु अपने शिष्य की परीक्षा के रूप में भी कई बार गुरुदक्षिणा माँग लेता है। कई बार गुरुदक्षिणा में शिष्य ने गुरु को वही दिया जो गुरु ने चाहा। गुरु के आदेश का पालन करना शिष्य के जीवन का परम कर्तव्य बन जाता है और कई बार तो यह जीवन-मरण का प्रश्न भी बना है।

विवेकानंद ने अपने गुरु के आदेश से पूरे विश्व में सनातन धर्म का प्रचार-प्रसार किया। छत्रपति शिवाजी अपने गुरु के आदेशानुसार शेरनी का दूध निकालकर ले आए और गुरुदक्षिणा के रूप में पूरे महाराष्ट्र को जीतकर अपने गुरु के चरणों में रख दिया था।

Srimad Bhagavat and Shiva Purana have described descriptions related to Swaha. Apart from this, in the Vedic texts like Rigveda, Yajurveda, many suktas have been composed on the importance of fire.

According to mythology, Swaha was the daughter of Daksha Prajapati. He was married to Agnidev. Agnidev receives Havishya through his wife, Swaha, and through him the same deity invoked receives the deity.
At the same time, according to the second legend, Aghadev's wife Swaha had three sons named Pavak, Pavman and Shuchi.
Another interesting story is also linked to the origin of Swaha. According to this, Swaha was an art of nature, which was married to Agni at the insistence of the gods. स्वाहा का अर्थ है:– सही रीति से पहुंचाना। दूसरे शब्दों में कहें तो जरूरी पदार्थ को उसके प्रिय तक सुरक्षित पहुंचाना। श्रीमद्भागवत तथा शिव पुराण में स्वाहा से संबंधित वर्णन आए हैं।

मंत्र पाठ करते हुए स्वाहा कहकर ही हवन सामग्री भगवान को अर्पित करते हैं।

हवन या किसी भी धार्मिक अनुष्ठान में मंत्र पाठ करते हुए स्वाहा कहकर ही हवन सामग्री, अर्घ्य या भोग भगवान को अर्पित करते हैं। लेकिन, कभी आपने सोचा है कि हर मंत्र के अंत में बोले जाने वाले शब्द स्वाहा का अर्थ क्या है।  

दरअसल कोई भी यज्ञ तब तक सफल नहीं माना जा सकता है जब तक कि हवन का ग्रहण देवता न कर लें। लेकिन, देवता ऐसा ग्रहण तभी कर सकते हैं जबकि अग्नि के द्वारा स्वाहा के माध्यम से अर्पण किया जाए।  श्रीमद्भागवत तथा शिव पुराण में स्वाहा से संबंधित वर्णन आए हैं। इसके अलावा ऋग्वेद, यजुर्वेद आदि वैदिक ग्रंथों में अग्नि की महत्ता पर अनेक सूक्तों की रचनाएं हुई हैं।

पौराणिक कथा

पौराणिक कथाओं के अनुसार, स्वाहा दक्ष प्रजापति की पुत्री थीं। इनका विवाह अग्निदेव के साथ किया गया था। अग्निदेव अपनी पत्नी स्वाहा के माध्यम से ही हविष्य ग्रहण करते हैं तथा उनके माध्यम से यही हविष्य आह्वान किए गए देवता को प्राप्त होता है। 

वहीं, दूसरी पौराणिक कथा के मुताबिक अग्निदेव की पत्नी स्वाहा के पावक, पवमान और शुचि नामक तीन पुत्र हुए।

स्वाहा की उत्पत्ति से एक अन्य रोचक कहानी भी जुड़ी हुई है। इसके अनुसार, स्वाहा प्रकृति की ही एक कला थी, जिसका विवाह अग्नि के साथ देवताओं के आग्रह पर संपन्न हुआ था। भगवान श्रीकृष्ण ने स्वयं स्वाहा को ये वरदान दिया था कि केवल उसी के माध्यम से देवता हविष्य को ग्रहण कर पाएंगे। यज्ञीय प्रयोजन तभी पूरा होता है जबकि आह्वान किए गए देवता को उनका पसंदीदा भोग पहुंचा दिया जाए।

 ग्रह गोचर-

 भारतीय ज्योतिष शास्त्र में फलित के लिए ग्रह स्थिति मुख्यरूपेण उत्तरदायी होती है, चाहे वह जन्म पत्रिका की ग्रह स्थिति हो या गोचर की। ज्योतिष के गोचर शास्त्र के अनुसार ग्रह गोचर अर्थात ग्रहों का राशि परिवर्तन प्रतिदिन नहीं होता। समस्त 9 ग्रहों के गोचर का अलग-अलग काल है जिनमें सूर्य, बुध, शुक्र लगभग 1 माह, मंगल 57 दिन, गुरु 1 वर्ष, राहु-केतु 1.5 (डेढ़) वर्ष, शनि ढाई (2.5) वर्ष में अपनी राशि परिवर्तन करते हैं।

अब बात करें चंद्रमा के गोचर की तो चंद्रमा भी सवा दो दिन में अपनी राशि परिवर्तन करते हैं। इसका आशय यह हुआ कि सवा दो दिनों तक तो ग्रह स्थितियों में परिवर्तन नहीं होगा। यदि किसी ग्रह का गोचर हुआ भी तो अगले दिन से लेकर पुन: 3 दिनों तक वही स्थिति रहेगी। जो ग्रह जिस राशि में स्थित है, उसी राशि में रहेगा तो ऐसे समान ग्रह स्थिति के आधार पर फलित प्रतिदिन कैसे परिवर्तित हो सकता है, आप स्वयं सोचिए!

  जन्म पत्रिका सर्वाधिक महत्वपूर्ण-

भारतीय ज्योतिष शास्त्र में किसी जातक के फलित के लिए उसकी जन्म पत्रिका की लग्न कुंडली को सर्वाधिक महत्ता प्रदान की गई है तत्पश्चात नवमांश कुंडली, उसके बाद वर्ग कुंडली, फिर विंशोत्तरी दशाएं, उसके बाद योगिनी दशाएं और सबसे अंत में गोचर को मान्यता दी गई है। जब गोचर को ही फलित करते समय सबसे अंतिम पायदान पर रखा जाता है तो केवल चंद्र के गोचर व नक्षत्र से दैनिक राशिफल निकालना कहां तक उचित व प्रामाणिक है?

  दैनिक राशिफल भी होता है 

अब उपर्युक्त आधार पर क्या यह मान लिया जाए कि भारतीय ज्योतिष शास्त्र में दैनिक राशिफल होता ही नहीं है ? नहीं, ऐसा कदापि नहीं है। दैनिक राशिफल भी ज्योतिष शास्त्र के अंतर्गत ही आता है किंतु वह प्रत्येक जातक का निजी होता है और उसका आधार प्रश्न कुंडली व नष्टजातकम् पद्धति होता है।

उस दैनिक राशिफल के लिए व्यक्ति को ज्योतिषी से प्रश्न करना होता है कि 'मेरा आज का दिन कैसा रहेगा?' तब ज्योतिषी प्रश्न कुंडली के आधार पर अथवा उस व्यक्ति से कोई अंक पूछकर उसके दिन के बारे गणना कर उस दिन का भविष्य संकेत उसे देता है।

इस प्रकार का दैनिक राशिफल व्यक्तिगत होता है, न कि सार्वजनिक। अत: हमारे मतानुसार समाचार पत्रों व न्यूज चैनलों में प्रसारित-प्रकाशित होने वाले दैनिक राशिफल के फलित को गंभीरता से न लेते हुए अपनी जन्म पत्रिका की ग्रह स्थितियों, दशाओं व अपनी राशि गोचर पर अधिक विश्वास करना चाहिए।

 प्राचीन काल में मनुष्य की आयु संभवत: इतनी रही होगी, परंतु वर्तमान में औसत आयु कम होती जा रही है. कुछ दिनों पहले तक मनुष्य की औसत आयु 60 से 70 वर्ष मानी जाती थी जो घटकर 50 से 60 वर्ष हो गयी है. यानी कुल मिलाकर प्राचीन काल के अनुपात में वर्तमान मनुष्य की औसत आयु आधी रह गयी है, इसलिए सभी ग्रहों की महादशा एक व्यक्ति के जीवन में नहीं आ पाती है, 4-5 ग्रहों की महादशा में ही आमतौर पर व्यक्ति का जीवन समाप्त हो जाता है, ऐसे में सभी ग्रहों का फल ज्ञात करने के लिए महादशा के अन्तर्गत अन्तर्दशा का प्रावधान किया गया है,महादशा के दौरान बारी-बारी से निश्चित समय पर सभी ग्रहों की अन्तर्दशा आती है इसके अनुसार फल का विश्लेषण किया जाता है। 

विंशोत्तरी पद्धति में महदशा का निर्धारण करने के लिए एक विशेष नियम का प्रयोग किया जाता है,इस नियम के अन्तर्गत सभी ग्रहों के तीन नक्षत्र माने गये हैं।

 इस तरह नक्षत्रों की कुल संख्या 27 मानी गई है,जन्म के समय चन्द्रमा जिस ग्रह के नक्षत्र में होता है उस ग्रह की महादशा में व्यक्ति का जन्म माना जाता है। 

 जन्म के समय चन्द्रमा नक्षत्र का जितना भाग पार कर चुका हुआ है, महादशा की अवधि उतनी ही शेष मानी जाती है । 

जैसे जन्म के समय चन्द्र किसी ग्रह नक्षत्र में प्रवेश किया है तो व्यक्ति को उस ग्रह की पूरी महादशा मिलेगी अगर जन्म के समय नक्षत्र के आधे भाग में चन्द्र है तो महादशा का आधा भाग ही व्यक्ति को प्राप्त होगा।  

विंशोत्तरी दशा में ग्रहों का फल ज्ञात करने के सम्बन्ध में महर्षि पराशर एवं वारहमिहिर ने एक नियम यह बताया है कि लग्न के अनुरूप कुछ ग्रह नैसर्गिक रूप से शुभ होते हैं जैसे मेष लग्न के लिए शनि मंगल, वृष लग्न के लिए शनि, कन्या लग्न के लिए बुध तथा कर्क लग्न के लिए मंगल लग्न के लिए नैसर्गिक रूप से ग्रह शुभ होने के बावजूद यह ध्यान रखना जरूरी होता है कि कुण्डली में वह ग्रह कितना बलवान है। 

अगर ग्रह कमज़ोर अथवा नीच का होगा तो वह शुभ होते हुए भी अपना शुभ फल नहीं दे पाएगा।

केन्द्र स्थानों को ज्योतिष में काफी महत्व दिया गया है,आमतौर पर यह माना जाता है कि पाप ग्रह शनि, मंगल, सूर्य कष्टकारी होते हैं परंतु यदि यह केन्द्र भावों के स्वामी हों तो उनकी दशा-अन्तर्दशा में लाभ मिलता है,व्यक्ति के लिए इनकी दशा हर प्रकार से सुखकारी रहती है।

  पंचम भाव- पंचम भाव हमारी शिक्षा और ज्ञान का भाव होता है, यदि पंचमेश केंद्र, त्रिकोण आदि शुभ भावों में हो, स्व , उच्च , मित्र राशि में हो पंचम भाव पाप प्रभाव से मुक्त हो शुभ ग्रह पंचम भाव और पंचमेश को देखते हों तो शिक्षा अच्छी होती है परन्तु यदि पंचमेश दुःख भाव(6,8,12) में हो अपनी नीच राशि में बैठा हो पंचम भाव में पाप-योग बना हो, षष्टेश, अष्टमेश, द्वादशेश पंचम भाव में हो या पंचम भाव में कोई पाप ग्रह अपनी नीच राशि में बैठा हो तो ऐसे में शिक्षा में बाधाओं का सामना करना पड़ता है या संघर्ष के बाद शिक्षा पूरी होती है।

  बृहस्पति – बृहस्पति ज्ञान और शिक्षा का कारक ग्रह है अतः कुण्डली  में बृहस्पति का शुभ भावों (केंद्र, त्रिकोण आदि) में होना स्व, उच्च, मित्र राशि में बैठना अच्छी शिक्षा दिलाता है और व्यक्ति विवेकशील होता है। परन्तु बृहस्पति का दुःख-भाव(6,8,12) में जाना अपनी नीच राशि(मकर) में बैठना, राहु से पीड़ित होना या अन्य प्रकार से कमजोर होना शिक्षा और ज्ञान प्राप्ति में बाधक होता है।

  बुध – बुध ग्रह का आज के समय में बड़ा महत्व है क्योंकि बुद्ध हमारी बुद्धि क्षमता को नियंत्रित करता है अतः शिक्षा पक्ष में बुध का मजबूत होना बहुत शुभ होता है यदि कुण्डली   में बुध अपनी उच्च राशि स्व राशि में हो तो व्यक्ति बुद्धिमान और तर्क-कुशल होता है ऐसा जातक किसी भी बात को बहुत जल्दी समझ लेता है और उसकी स्मरणशक्ति भी अच्छी होती है। बलि बुध वाला व्यक्ति तार्किक विषयों में बहुत आगे निकलता है। परन्तु यदि बुध नीच राशि(मीन) में हो, दुःख-भाव(6,8,12) में हो, केतु के साथ हो तो ये स्थितियां भी शिक्षा में बाधक होती हैं।

Space is considered an empty space i.e. space. Empty space is called leisure. It was a holiday when the sky was born, that is, the sky was created by the holiday. Holiday means endless darkness. Infinite space. There is light as opposed to darkness, but the darkness that is being spoken here is a little difficult to understand. This is the monotheistic principle.

Power of mind
 Human mind is faster than the speed of air, sound and light. It can go to any corner of the universe in a moment. The power of mind has been considered as the greatest power in the Vedas-Puranas. There are many types of mind also. Our and your mind together form a group mind. Similarly, the earth has its mind and the air also. In some, the mind is dormant, in others it is awake.
Just as our body is the basis of our soul and our soul is the basis of mind, similarly all animals and animals etc. are also the basis of mind. There is so much strength in mental power to stop the storms, extinguish the fire and dry the water. Our sages and sages had this power.
The mind was an important event in the birth and development of creation. The qualities of the mind are from the manifestations of emotion and thoughts. The mind is not merely a reaction arising out of the activities of the 5 senses - such a mind is called only the sensory mind, which is subject to life, but the mind is more than that.
Humans, stay awake to the arbitrariness of your mind, this is the best way described in the Vedas.
Wisdom beyond the mind ---
 Apart from the mind, there is a more subtle thing called intelligence, which understands everything deeply and tries to know good and bad, it has been called 'Satyagyanamay'. Every animal has intelligence. It is through our intellect that we know the state of our being. It is through wisdom that the earth knows that I am becoming imbalanced, so what should I do to balance. It is the intellect that shows the right and wrong path.
It is said that the intelligence of such and such is corrupted or the intellect contrary to destruction…. When man has the knowledge to remain in his ignorance, then control of mind begins. The one who controls the mind and places it in the intellect's determination is called prudent. There is clarity of logic and thought in prudence. But one who transcends even the intellect is called insightful mind, that is, whose witnessing is deepening. This is called the symptom of enlightened knowledge, which is situated in a thought beyond thought.
Brahma is the truth ---

 The one who is pervasive in the past, the future and all, who also presides over the universe, is bowed to that Brahma (God).

वेद, पुराण और गीता पढ़ने के बाद हमने जाना कि ब्रह्मांड में सबसे बड़ी कौन-सी शक्ति है। बहुत से लोग यह जानना चाहते होंगे। इसके लिए क्रमवार कुछ खोजा है।

उपनिषदों में प्रश्न-उत्तरों के माध्यम से ऋषियों ने इस ब्रह्मांड के रहस्य को अपने शिष्यों के सामने उजागर किया और फिर अपनी शिक्षाओं में उन्होंने सत्य, अहिंसा, ब्रह्मचर्य आदि की शिक्षा दी। उनकी तमाम शिक्षाओं में भी ब्रह्मचर्य को उन्होंने सबसे प्रधान माना। ब्रह्मचर्य को उन्होंने जीवन में सबसे महत्वपूर्ण माना।

ब्रह्मचर्य से बढ़कर कुछ नहीं। ब्रह्मचर्य से शक्ति, सेहत और समृद्धि मिलती है, लेकिन ब्रह्मचर्य से बढ़कर भी कुछ है।

 अन्न ही ब्रह्म .--

 अन्न ही ब्रह्मचर्य से बढ़कर है। अन्न और धरती पर पाई जाने वाली सभी वनस्पतियों की हमारे ऋषि-मुनि प्रार्थना करते थे। अन्न हमें ओज और ब्रह्मचर्य प्रदान करता है। अन्न हमारे लिए अमूल्य पदार्थ है। अन्न के बगैर व्यक्ति शक्तिहीन हो जाता है। अन्न हमें तभी शक्ति प्रदान करता है जबकि हम उपवास का पालन करते हैं।

अन्न से ही हमारा शरीर बनता है और अन्न से ही यह शरीर बिगड़ भी सकता है अत: अन्न का भक्षण धार्मिक रीति अनुसार करना चाहिए।

 धरती मां .--

 पृथ्वी अन्न से भी बड़ी है। वह हमारी माता है। हमारी दो प्रकार की माताएं होती हैं। एक तो भौतिक माता जो हमारी जननी है और दूसरी पृथ्वी माता है (जो हमें गर्भाशय से मृत्युपर्यंत पालती है)।

पुराणों अनुसार हम हमारी भौतिक माता के गर्भ से निकलकर धरती माता के गर्भाशय में प्रविष्ट हो जाते हैं। यह माता हमारा लालन-पालन करती है। यह धरती हमें विभिन्न वनस्पतियां देकर हमारा पोषण करती है। उसे वेद-पुराण में धेनु कहते हैं (कामधेनु एक ऐसी गाय है, जो ऋषि वशिष्ठ से संबंधित थी और संपूर्ण कामना पूर्ण कर देती थी)।

यह धरती हमारा ही नहीं, बल्कि समस्त जीव-जंतु, पेड़-पौधे, जलचर, थलचर, नभचर, उभयचर आदि सभी जीवों को समान रूप से पालती है और उन्हें संपूर्ण उम्र तक जिंदा बनाए रखने का प्रयास करती है, लेकिन मानव अपनी इस माता पर तरह-तरह के अत्याचार करता रहता है।

 जल से धरती की उत्पत्ति हुई .

सचमुच ऐसा ही हुआ। जलता हुआ जल कहीं जमकर बर्फ बना तो कहीं भयानक अग्नि के कारण काला कार्बन होकर धरती बनता गया। कहना चाहिए कि ज्वालामुखी बनकर ठंडा होते गया। अब आप देख भी सकते हैं कि धरती आज भी भीतर से जल रही है और हजारों किलोमीटर तक बर्फ भी जमी है। धरती पर 75 प्रतिशत जल ही तो है। कोई कैसे सोच सकता है कि जल भी जलता होगा या वायु भी जलती होगी?

सनातन  धर्म में नदियों की पूजा इसीलिए की जाती है। जल नहीं होता तो जीवन भी नहीं होता। जल के देवता वरुण और इंद्र की वेदों में स्तुतियां मिल जाएंगी। जल को सबसे महत्वपूर्ण तत्व माना जाता है। जल उतना ही जाग्रत और बोध करने वाला तत्व है जितना कि मानव सोच-समझ सकता है। जीवों को उत्पन्न करने वाली धरती कैसे निर्जीव मानी जा सकती है और धरती को उत्पन्न करने वाला जल कैसे सिर्फ एक पदार्थ माना जा सकता है।

 अग्नि से जल की उत्पत्ति .

 ब्रह्मांड में विराट अग्नि के गोले देखे जा सकते हैं, धरती भी अग्नि का एक गोला थी। अग्नि से ही जल तत्व की उत्पत्ति हुई। अं‍तरिक्ष में आज भी ऐसे समुद्र घुम रहे हैं जिनके पास अपनी कोई धरती नहीं है लेकिन जिनके भीतर धरती बनने की प्रक्रिया चल रही है और जो कभी अग्नि के समुद्र थे।

जल से बड़ा यह अग्नि तत्व है, जो कि सारे ब्रह्माण्ड को चला रहा है जिसने सारे संसार में चेतना का प्रसार कर रखा है। अग्नि तत्व के कारण वर्षा होती है जिससे हर प्रकार का अन्न पैदा होता है। जब यह समुद्र पर कार्य करती है तो वाष्प बनती है जिससे बादल बनते हैं, जो वर्षा का कारण होते हैं। वर्षा से वनस्पति जगत उत्पन्न होता है।

प्रत्येक व्यक्ति के भीतर अग्नि तत्व होता है। अग्नि से ही बल मिलता है इसीलिए हिंदू धर्म में अग्नि की पूजा होती है, प्रार्थना होती है और यज्ञ किए जाते हैं। घर-घर दीपक इसीलिए जलाए जाते हैं कि हमें अग्नि का महत्व ज्ञात रहे। अग्निदेव साक्षात हमारे बीच रहते हैं।

 अग्नि से बढ़कर है वायु 

  वायु हर जगह है। समुद्र के भीतर भी और धरती से सैकड़ों किलोमीटर ऊपर भी। वायु की सत्ता सबसे बड़ी है। वायु के बगैर व्यक्ति एक क्षण भी जिंदा नहीं रह सकता। यही हमारे प्राण हैं।

वायु में ही अग्नि और जल तत्व छुपे हुए रूप में रहते हैं। वायु ठंडी होकर जल बन जाती है व गर्म होकर अग्नि का रूप धारण कर लेती है। वायु का वायु से घर्षण होने से अग्नि की उत्पत्ति हुई। अग्नि की उत्पत्ति ब्रह्मांड की सबसे बड़ी घटना थी। वायु जब तेज गति से चलती है तो धरती जैसे ग्रहों को उड़ाने की ताकत रखती है। वायु धरती पर भी है और धरती के बाहर अंतरिक्ष में भी प्रत्येक ग्रह पर वायु है और प्रत्येक ग्रह की वायु भिन्न-भिन्न है। वेदों में 8 तरह की वायु का वर्णन मिलता है।

आप सोचिए कि सूर्य से धरती तक जो सौर्य तूफान आता है वह किसकी शक्ति से यहां तक आता है? संपूर्ण ब्रह्मांड में वायु का साम्राज्य है, लेकिन हमारी धरती की वायु और अंतरिक्ष की वायु में फर्क है।

वायु को ब्रह्मांड का प्राण और आयु कहा जाता है। शरीर और हमारे बीच वायु का सेतु है। शरीर से वायु के निकल जाने को ही प्राण निकलना कहते हैं।

 आकाश तत्व--

 आकाश से वायु की उत्पत्ति हुई। आकाश एक अनुमान है। दिखाई देता है लेकिन पकड़ में नहीं आता। धरती के एक सूत ऊपर से, ऊपर जहां तक नजर जाती है उसे आकाश ही माना जाता है।

 वायुमंडल का घेरा 

खाली स्थान अर्थात स्पेस (अन्तरिक्ष)। जब हम खाली स्थान की बात करते हैं तो वहां अणु का एक कण भी नहीं होना चाहिए, तभी तो उसे खाली स्थान कहेंगे। है ना? हमारे आकाश-अंतरिक्ष में तो हजारों अणु-परमाणु घूम रहे हैं।

 अंतरिक्ष --

 अंतरिक्ष अग्नि, वायु और आकाश से महान है। हम जो भी शब्द उच्चारण करते हैं वे इस अंतरिक्ष में विचरण करते रहते हैं। आकाश में वायु साक्षात है लेकिन अंतरिक्ष में वायु सूक्ष्म रूप है। अंतरिक्ष ही सभी का आधार है। सभी ग्रह-नक्षत्र अंतरिक्ष के बल पर ही स्थिर और चलायमान हैं।

अंतरिक्ष को खाली स्थान माना जाता है यानी स्पेस। खाली स्थान को अवकाश कहते हैं। अवकाश था तभी आकाश की उत्पत्ति हुई अर्थात अवकाश से आकाश बना। अवकाश अर्थात अनंत अंधकार। अनंत अं‍तरिक्ष। अंधकार के विपरीत प्रकाश होता है, लेकिन यहां जिस अंधकार की बात कही जा रही है उसे समझना थोड़ा कठिन जरूर है। यही अद्वैतवादी सिद्धांत है।

अंतरिक्ष को सबसे महान माना गया है। ऊपर देखो और ऊपर से ही कुछ मांगो। नीचे मूर्ति या मंदिर में प्रार्थना करने वाले क्या यह जानते हैं कि वैदिक ऋषि ऊपर वाले की ही प्रार्थना करते थे। ध्यान लगाकर वे अपने भीतर के अंतरिक्ष को खोजते थे।

अंतरिक्ष से सब कुछ प्राप्त किया जाता जाता है और अपनी बुद्धि के अनुसार इनको ग्रहण किया जाता है। मेधा बुद्धि का संबंध अंतरिक्ष से होता है। अंतरिक्ष हमारी बुद्धि को बढ़ाने वाला है। यह हमारे भीतर जीवन को प्रबल करता है। इसी से वायु को गति मिलती है। इसी में अग्नि भी विद्यमान रहती है।

अंतरिक्ष से बढ़कर है प्राण 

 यह प्राण ही है जिसके अवतरण से धरती और अन्य जगत में हलचल हुई और द्रुत गति से आकार-प्रकार का युग प्रारंभ हुआ। ब्रह्मांड और प्रकृति भिन्न-भिन्न रूप धारण करती गई। प्राण को ही जीवन कहते हैं। प्राण के निकल जाने पर प्राणी मृत अर्थात जड़ माना जाता है। यह प्राणिक शक्ति ही संपूर्ण ब्रह्मांड की आयु और वायु है अर्थात प्राणवायु ही आयु है, स्वास्थ्य है।

पत्थर, पौधे, पशु और मानव, ग्रह-नक्षत्र के प्राण में जाग्रति और सक्रियता का अंतर है। देव, मनुष्य, पशु आदि सभी प्राण के कारण चेष्टावान हैं।

मन की सत्ता -

 मानव का मन वायु, ध्वनि और प्रकाश की गति से भी तेज है। यह क्षणभर में ब्रह्मांड के किसी भी कोने में जा सकता है। वेद-पुराणों में मन की शक्ति को सबसे बड़ी शक्ति माना गया है। मन के भी कई प्रकार हैं। हमारा और आपका मन मिलकर समूहगत मन का निर्माण होता है। इसी तरह धरती का भी मन है और वायु का भी। किसी में मन सुप्त है तो किसी में जाग्रत।

जिस तरह हमारे शरीर का आधार है हमारे प्राण और प्राण का आधार है मन, उसी तरह सभी जीव-जंतु आदि का आधार भी है मन। मानसिक शक्ति में इतनी ताकत होती है कि वह तूफानों को रोक दे, आग को बुझा दे और जल को सूखा दे। हमारे ऋषि-मुनियों में यह शक्ति थी।

सृष्‍टि के जन्म और विकास में मन एक महत्वपूर्ण घटना थी। मन के गुण, भाव और विचारों के प्रत्यक्षों से हैं। मन 5 इंद्रियों के क्रिया-कलापों से उपजी प्रतिक्रिया मात्र नहीं है- इस तरह के मन को सिर्फ ऐंद्रिक मन ही कहा जाता है, जो प्राणों के अधीन है, लेकिन मन इससे भी बढ़कर है।

मनुष्यों, तुम मन की मनमानी के प्रति जाग्रत रहो वेदों में यही श्रेष्ठ उपाय बताया गया है।

मन से बढ़कर बुद्धि ---

 मन के अलावा और भी सूक्ष्म चीज होती है जिसे बुद्धि कहते हैं, जो गहराई से सब कुछ समझती और अच्छा-बुरा जानने का प्रयास करती है, इसे ही 'सत्यज्ञानमय' कहा गया है। प्रत्येक जीव-जंतु में बुद्धि होती है। बुद्धि से ही हम अपने होने की स्थिति का ज्ञान करते हैं। बुद्धि से ही धरती जान जाती है कि मैं असंतुलित हो रही हूं तो मुझे संतुलन कायम करने के लिए क्या करना चाहिए। यह बुद्धि ही सही और गलत मार्ग बताती है।

कहते हैं कि फलां-फलां की बुद्धि भ्रष्ट हो गई है या विनाश काले विपरीत बुद्धि...। जब मनुष्य को अपने अज्ञान में पड़े रहने का ज्ञान होता है, तब शुरू होता है मन पर नियंत्रण। मन को नियंत्रित कर उसे बुद्धि-संकल्प में स्थित करने वाला ही विवेकी कहलाता है। विवेकी में तर्क और विचार की सुस्पष्टता होती है। किंतु जो बुद्धि का भी अतिक्रमण कर जाता है उसे अंतर्दृष्टि संपन्न मानस कहते हैं अर्थात जिसका साक्षीत्व गहराने लगा। इसे ही ज्ञानीजन संबोधि का लक्षण कहते हैं, जो विचार से परे निर्विचार में स्‍थित है।

ब्रह्म ही सत्य है---

 ॐ यो भूतं च भव्‍य च सर्व यश्‍चाधि‍ति‍ष्‍ठति‍।

स्‍वर्यस्‍य च केवलं तस्‍मै ज्‍येष्‍ठाय ब्रह्मणे नम:।।-अथर्ववेद 10-8-1

 जो भूत, भवि‍ष्‍य और सब में व्‍यापक है, जो दि‍व्‍यलोक का भी अधि‍ष्‍ठाता है, उस ब्रह्म (परमेश्वर) को प्रणाम है।

  वेद, उपनिषद, पुराण और गीता में उस एक ईश्वर को 'ब्रह्म' कहा गया है।

ब्रह्म शब्द बृह धातु से बना है जिसका अर्थ बढ़ना, फैलना, व्यास या विस्तृत होना। ब्रह्म परम तत्व है। वह जगत्कारण है। ब्रह्म वह तत्व है जिससे सारा विश्व उत्पन्न होता है, जिसमें वह अंत में लीन हो जाता है ।

व्यवसाय के लिए दशम भाव एवं सप्तम भाव तथा इनके स्वामियों को देखा जाता है । एकादश भाव से यह देखा जाता है की आमदनी किसको बहुत ज्यादा होगी किसको कम होगी । परंतु व्यापार कम या ज्यादा चले इसके लिए दशम भाव एवं सप्तम भाव देखा जाता है ।

मारकेश का अर्थ मुख्य रूप से मृत्यु समझते हैं !  कई बार मारकेश की दशा में मृत्यु न होने पर लोग ज्योतिष विद्या को संदेह की नजर से देखते हैं ! 

महत्वपूर्ण जातक ग्रन्थ 'शीघ्रबोध' के रचनाकार कहते हैं कि मृत्यु का अर्थ शरीर से प्राण निकलना ही नहीं अपितु ज्योतिष शास्त्र में मृत्यु आठ प्रकार की मानी गयी है ! जैसे —

"व्यथा दुखं भयं लज्जा, रोग शोकस्तथैवच !

मृत्यु की वजह शरीर को निरंतर 

1. पीड़ा, 2. दुःख, 3. शत्रु से बराबर घिरा रहना, 4. शत्रुओं के भय से हमेशा भयभीत रहना, 5. हमेशा लज्जित महसूस करना, 6. भरी सभा में अपमानित होना, 7.  निकट सम्बन्धियों की मृत्यु  से शोकातुर रहना, 8. शरीर से प्राण निकलना यह आठो ही मृत्यु के रूप ही माने गये हैं ! 

 मारकेश की दशा में इन आठो में से किसी भी घटना के घटित होने को मृत्यु के समान ही समझा जाना चाहिए !

.      यह आवश्यक नहीं है कि मारकेश का प्रभाव शरीर पर ही परिलक्षित हो, उसका प्रभाव धन पर भी आ सकता है, जिसकी वजह से करोड़पति भी क्षण भर में फकीर बन जाता है ! इस प्रकार के मारकेश का समावेश भी मृत्यु के समान दारुण व्यथा से कर सकते हैं ! लगातार निष्ठापूर्वक प्रयत्न करने पर भी सफलता न मिलने का अर्थ भी दारुण दुःख से ही किया जायेगा !

.  हम सभी जानते हैं कि चन्द्रमा मन का प्रतीक ग्रह है, इसलिए लग्‍न कुण्डली के हिसाब से चन्द्रमा  जिस भाव का स्‍वामी हो या जिस भाव में चन्द्रमा  की स्थिति हो, उन भावों पर जातक का ध्‍यान जीवन भर बना होता है ! 

यदि जातक का जन्‍म पूर्णिमा के आसपास का हो, तब उन संदर्भों के सुख प्राप्‍त करने हेतु तथा यदि जातक का जन्‍म अमावस्‍या के आसपास हुआ हो, तब उन संदर्भों के कष्‍ट की वजह से जातक सम्बंधित संदर्भों में  उलझा होता है !

 तांबे का कड़ा धारण करें या अनामिका में तांबे की अंगूठी धारण करें यदि जन्म कुण्डली  के हिसाब से सूर्य पीड़ित हो कमजोर हो तो माणिक्य धारण करें।

 सफेद आक ( सफेद मदार ) का जड़ रविवार को रवि पुष्य नक्षत्र में निकालकर गले में या दाहिने बाजू में लाल या पीले धागे में धारण करें । सफेद आक के गणपति पूजा स्थान में स्थापित करें यदि भगवान गणपति की आकृति नहीं बना सकते एक पिंड के समान सफेद आक की जड़ के टुकड़े को सिंदूर लगाकर पूजा स्थान में गणेश जी मानकर पूजा करें । 

संभव हो तो अपने घर के गेट के सामने बगल में सफेद आक का पौधा लगाएं ।

 यदि सफेद आंक का जड़ ना प्राप्त हो तो विल्व पत्र के जड़ भी धारण कर सकते हैं ।

शरीर पर चांदी से बने हुए किसी प्रकार के अंगूठी या लॉकेट धारण करें ।

यदि जन्म कुण्डली  में गुरु कमजोर हो  पुखराज धारण करें । यदि  पुखराज धारण नहीं कर सकते हैं तो हल्दी या केसर का प्रतिदिन तिलक लगाएं ।

 भारतीय ज्योतिष में चलित कुण्डली फलित ज्योतिष की नींव है,  वास्तव में ग्रहों की स्थिति तो 12 राशियों में होती है परंतु फलित  ज्योतिष कुण्डली के बारह भाव पर पूर्णत:आधारित है:, फलित ज्योतिष के ग्रंथों में भावप्रकाश, भावार्थ रत्नाकर, भाव दीपिका, एवं भाव मंजरी, आदि प्रमुख पाराशर एवं जातक तत्वम भी  12 भाव पर ही आधारित है ।

जातक की भाव कुण्डली को ही चलित कुण्डली कहते हैं, राशि कुण्डली के ग्रहों की स्थिति भाव कुण्डली में बदल सकती है। 

 ग्रहो के अंश कम होने पर वही ग्रह लग्न कुण्डली मे आगे वाले भाव में दृष्टिगोचर होता है, परन्तु वास्तव में वह ग्रह उसी भाव फल का नाश करता है। 

*चलित और लग्न  कुण्डली मे भाव राशि सभी समान होते हैं ।  ग्रहो में न्युनाधिक अंशो के कारण 9 में से एक दो ग्रह का स्थान परिवतर्न हो जाता है । 

*ग्रहों की अवस्था* 

सूर्य, मंगल एवं शनि की पृष्ठोदय संज्ञा, तथा राहु-केतु, गुरु, शुक्र एवं बुध की शीर्षोदय संज्ञा होती है ,तथा ग्रहों की अवस्था में —

चन्द्रमा शिशु,

 मंगल बाल,

 बुध किशोर, 

शुक्र युवा, 

गुरु मध्य, 

सूर्य वृद्ध तथा शनि की अतिवृद्ध अवस्था होती है । 

कुछ आचार्यों के मतानुसार बुध शिशु, मंगल युवा, शुक्र एवं चन्द्र मध्य अवस्था वाले तथा शेष ग्रह वृद्ध अवस्था वाले होते हैं । 

 *ग्रहों का समय बल विचार*

 प्रात:काल गुरु एवं बुध,

मध्याह्न काल में सूर्य एवं मंगल,

 अपराह्न में चन्द्रमा एवं शुक्र तथा सन्ध्या समय में शनि एवं राहु बली होते हैं । 

*ग्रहों की कफ आदि संज्ञा*

मंगल एवं सूर्य की पित्त प्रकृति,

चन्द्रमा एवं शुक्र की कफ प्रकृति, 

गुरु एवं बुध की सम धातु तथा शेष शनि एवं राह-केतुु वात प्रकृति के होते हैं । 

*ग्रहों का रस*

मंगल, सूर्य का कटु (कड़ुवा) रस, चन्द्र तथा शुक्र का नमकीन एवं खट्टा, बुध का कसैला, गुरु का मीठा तथा राहु-केतु, एवं शनि की तिक्त रस संज्ञा होती है । 

*ग्रहों की द्विपदादि संज्ञा*

गुरु एवं शुक्र की द्विपद संज्ञा,मंगल सूर्य की चतुष्पद संज्ञा, बुध एवं शनि की पक्षी संज्ञा तथा चन्द्र एवं राहु-केतु की सरीसृप (सरक कर चलने वाले जीव) संज्ञा मानी गयी है। 

*ग्रहों की वर्णादि संज्ञा* 

शुक्र तथा गुरु ब्राह्मण संज्ञक, मंगल और सूर्य क्षत्रिय संज्ञक, बुध एवं चन्द्रमा वैश्य संज्ञक तथा राहु-केतु एवं शनि शूद्र संज्ञक होते हैं । 

 कुछ आचार्यों ने चन्द्रमा को वैश्य, बुद्ध को शूद्र तथा शनि और राहु को म्लेच्छ (अन्त्यज) संज्ञक माना है ।
