If the place of the east direction is high in the building, then the whole life of the person will be spent in economic deprivations, troubles and his child will be suffering from unhealthy, weak memory, stealing in education and diseases of stomach and liver.
If there is no space in the east and the slope of the verandah is towards the west, then the head of the family has to face the problem of eye disease, nervousness or heart disease.
If the eastern part of the house has garbage, dirt and heaps of stones, mud, etc., the householder has to face pregnancy.
If there is a low or vacant space in the west of the building, then the family gets death at a young age due to illness, liver, neck, cheek blood etc.
If the east wall is higher than the west side, then the child has to face loss.
If the toilet is constructed in the east direction, then the daughters-in-law of the house will remain unwell.
यदि भवन में पूर्व दिशा का स्थान ऊँचा हो, तो व्यक्ति का सारा जीवन आर्थिक अभावों, परेशानियों में ही व्यतीत होता रहेगा और उसकी सन्तान अस्वास्थ्य , कमजोर स्मरणशक्ति वाली, पढाई-लिखाई में जी चुराने तथा पेट और यकृत के रोगों से पीडित रहेगी।
यदि पूर्व दिशा में रिक्त स्थान न हो और बरामदे की ढलान पश्चिम दिशा की ओर हो, तो परिवार के मुखिया को आँखों की बीमारी, स्नायु अथवा ह्रदय रोग की स्मस्या का सामना करना पडता है।
घर के पूर्वी भाग में कूडा-कर्कट, गन्दगी एवं पत्थर, मिट्टी इत्यादि के ढेर हों, तो गृहस्वामिनी को गर्भहानि का सामना करना पडता है।
भवन के पश्चिम में नीचा या रिक्त स्थान हो, तो गृहस्वामी यकृत, गर्दन , गाल ब्लड इत्यादि किसी बीमारी से परिवार को मंझधार में ही छोडकर अल्पावस्था में ही मृत्यु को प्राप्त हो जाता है।
यदि पूर्व की दिवार पश्चिम दिशा की दिवार से अधिक ऊँची हो, तो संतान हानि का सामना करना पडता है।
अगर पूर्व दिशा में शौचालय का निर्माण किया जाए, तो घर की बहू-बेटियाँ अवश्य अस्वस्थ रहेंगीं।
