यदि आप कोई कार्य पूरी मेहनत और ऊर्जा के साथ करते है, और फिर भी सफल नही होते या उस कार्य के विपरित परिणाम आते हैं,तो समझ लीजिए आपका कार्य शुभ मुहूर्त में नही हुआ है या राहुकाल में हुआ है। राहुकाल में किए गए कार्यों में हमेशा असफलता ही प्राप्त होती है और किए गए कार्यों के विपरित परिणाम मिलते है।
राहुकाल में शुभकार्य करना वर्जित हैं। ऐसा माना जाता है कि यह समय क्रुर ग्रह राहु के नाम से है जो पाप ग्रह माना गया है। इसलिए इस समय में जो भी कार्य किया जाता है वो पाप ग्रस्त हो जाता है और असफल हो जाता है। ज्योतिषिय गणना के अनुसार यह काल कभी सुबह, कभी दोपहर तो कभी शाम के समय आता है, लेकिन सूर्यास्त से पूर्व ही पड़ता है। राहुकाल कीअवधि दिन (सूर्योदय से सूर्यास्त तक के समय) के आठवें भाग के बराबर होती है। यानि राहुकाल का समय डेढ़ घंटा होता है।
कब होता है राहुकाल --
१ - रविवार को शाम ०४:३० से ०६:०० बजे तक राहुकाल होता है।
२ - सोमवार को दिन का दूसरा भाग यानि सुबह ०७:३० से ०९:०० बजे तक राहुकाल होता है।
३ - मंगलवार को दोपहर ०३:०० से ०४:३० बजे तक राहुकाल होता है।
४ - बुधवार को दोपहर १२:०० से ०१:३० बजे तक राहुकाल माना गया है।
५ - गुरुवार को दोपहर ०१:३० से ०३:०० बजे तक का समय यानि दिन का छठा भाग राहुकाल होता है।
६ - शुक्रवार को दिन का चौथा भाग राहुकाल होता है। यानि सुबह १०:३० से १२:०० बजे तक का समय राहुकाल है।
७ - शनिवार को सुबह ०९:०० से १०:३० बजे तक के समय को राहुकाल माना गया है।
नोट - दक्षिण भारत में इस तथ्य को विशेष रूप से प्रधानता दी जाती है I

When is Rahukal -
1 - Rahukkal happens on Sunday from 04:30 to 06:00.
2 - On Monday, the second part of the day i.e. from 07:30 to 09:00 AM is Rahukkal.
3- Rahukkal happens on Tuesday from 03:00 to 04:30.
6 - Rahukaal is considered from 12:00 to 01:30 on Wednesday.
5 - The time from 01:30 AM to 03:00 PM on Thursday i.e. the sixth part of the day is Rahukal.
4 - Rahu is the fourth part of the day on Friday. That is, the time from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm is Rahukal.
4 - The time from 09:00 AM to 10:30 AM on Saturday is considered as Rahukal.
Note - This fact is especially given priority in South India.
